Our vision is to reach the unreached population of Pakistan with the message of Jesus Christ while empowering Christians through discipleship, leadership development, and ministry training.

MINISTRY & LEADERSHIP

Holy Light Ministries is an evangelistic ministry and leadership vision founded and led by Rev. Kaleem Shahzad. He has also served as a pastor and Executive Director at Good Samaritan Church, where he oversaw a network of 35 churches across Pakistan.

With a desire to serve and reach the people of Pakistan and the Secular World, Holy Light Ministries established Holy Light Foundation, a registered social nonprofit organization recognized by the Government of Pakistan and the Punjab Charity Commission. The Foundation works for the relief, development, and empowerment of Pakistani Christians. While Holy Light Ministries carries a broader mission of proclaiming the Gospel, equipping believers, developing leaders, and strengthening the Church in Pakistan.

Church Planting

Many of Pakistan’s historic and prominent church buildings were established during the 19th and early 20th centuries, with numerous major churches dating back to the period between 1850 and 1950. Today, there is a growing need to establish new churches that can serve Pakistan’s changing and expanding Christian communities.

Across Pakistan, countless communities are searching for hope, truth, and a place where they can encounter the love of God and learn the word of God. Pakistan Church Planting Mission exists to carry the Gospel beyond established communities and into places where a Christ-centered church is needed.

Our desire is to work alongside local believers and communities, developing churches that understand their people, serve their needs, raise up leaders, and faithfully proclaim the Gospel. We are believing God for the establishment of 200 churches across Pakistan, reaching communities that have little or no access to a strong local Christian presence.

Jesus said this in Matthew 5:14:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” The “city on a hill” is Jesus' picture of His followers being visible witnesses of God's light—not hiding their faith, but living in a way that points people toward the Father.

The country includes 657 urban localities and more than 46,000 rural localities, representing an enormous opportunity to take the Gospel to cities, towns, villages, and communities across the nation.

Pakistan is home to approximately 259 million people, spread across Punjab (127.33 million), Sindh (58.64 million), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (42.64 million), Balochistan (15.56 million), and the Islamabad Capital Territory (2.28 million). The country have 600,403 mosques, and 20,052 registered madrassas (muslim religious schools).

With approximately 3.30 million Christians, In pakistan there are 3,225 registered churches. Our vision is to establish strong Christian churches and ministry centers that provide places for worship, prayer, discipleship, leadership training, and Gospel outreach within surrounding communities.
