Lazarus Nazir Masih A 72 years old Christian man Killed by Muslim Mob

Lazarus Nazir Masih a 72-year-old Christian man was viciously attacked by the mob of thousand of Muslims on 25th May 2024, in Sargodha, Pakistan. The mob beat him to death, kicking him, beating him with bricks, stones, and rods, and attempting to kill him. The angry mob even burnt his factory and Christian homes.

There is a series of attacks on Christians. Recently, a few months before, On the 16th of August 2023, a mob of thousands burned numerous churches, 300 Christian houses, and thousands of Holy Bibles, looting and setting belongings on fire. These events have left Christian communities in Pakistan feeling unsafe and constantly fearful. We are providing legal services to all Christians in Pakistan, fighting for their rights and offering legal assistance to the persecuted. We will continue our services and urge the government and law enforcement agencies to halt the false accusations of blasphemy. A false accusation can ruin lives, decimate communities, and lead to severe consequences. We will keep raising our voices for persecuted Christians until we are alive.

The world’s biggest religious population 2.5 billion are Christians. For decades Christians have been persecuted and killed. It has been happening for decades because Christians around the world are not united. They do not raise a voice for Pakistani Christians. They are not standing in unity to empower them as it should be.

Though persecuted Christians love Jesus and are faithful to Him. As its written in the Holy Bible “For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:36-39
